    SPOILERS MAY BE IN THIS REVIEW FAIR WARNING   This is a great book that was well worth the price of admission.  Oh, and it's not  because I grew up on a steady diet of Stephen King novels but because Scott Snyder tells a fantastic opening act that holds up against Stephen King.  Albuquerque's art is strong and fits the book perfectly.  He amazingly shows the ability to change from the first chapter to the second chapter.  Giving both stories a unique look.    Scott's story telling developed Pear...

    Big Break for Scott Snyder 0

    Scott Snyder is an up and coming comic writer we all will know soon enough.  He wrote a little for Marvel comics before American Vampire was taking sales by storm.  Part of the reason American Vampire has been selling comics by the boat loads is because of Stephen King and his half of each of the first 5 comics of American Vampire.    sketches from Rafael Albuquerque Vertigo was trying out new ways to get exposure for each new series, they tried a $1 for the first issue or cheap first trade...

    Great New Comic! 1

    One of the best new titles for 2011! I would recommend it because it's not like the other poppy vampire stories out there. It makes you more interested in vampires like Dracula and NOT Edward. Stephen King is a great writer for comics as well as novels. The time periods are perfect as well as the title. This truly is an American vampire story with a great story line....
