At last! Everyone's favorite no-nonsense powerhouse, America Chavez, gets her own series!

Written by critically-acclaimed YA novelist Gabby Rivera (Juliet Takes A Breath) and drawn by all-star artist Joe Quinones (HOWARD THE DUCK), Marvel Comics' brand new AMERICA series shines a solo spotlight on the high-octane and hard-hitting adventures of the one and only America Chavez!

America has always been uncontestably awesome, and as the newly appointed leader of the Ultimates, she's now officially claimed her place as the preeminent butt-kicker of the Marvel Universe! But while leading a team of heroes and punching out big bads is great and all, it doesn't really leave much time for self-discovery... So what's a super-powered teenager do when she's looking for a little fulfillment? She goes to college!

She just has to stop an interdimensional monster or two first, plus shut down a pesky alien cult that's begun worshipping her exploits!

IntroCover Art: 3/5Story-line and Flow: a whopping 1/5Art and Colors: 2/5This comic was abysmal for Marvel and i can only say "Its no wonder why Rebirth is kicking the shit out of Marvel" The Goodthere isn't much... like at all. seriously the best experience i had was looking at the cover. Honestly its just... its bad. I expected more from marvel. The BadThe dialogue is exclusive to Millennials only, i cite Ultimate Spider- Mans "She's my sis from another miss" quote. Like seriously just *cring...

Not the worst but not the best. 0

Maybe I'm a bit biased as a fan of the character but I thought the start was decent. However it's not perfect. The biggest problem it has is with pacing. Mainly that it goes by far too quickly in my opinion. There are character bits here and there but they tended to go by very fast and there's quite a bit of exposition. So there are some parts of the story I was unfamiliar with. Still that said it's a decent enough start. If you're a fan of the character I say at least check it out....
