Phymata Americana
Like a comedian that relies on a gag, by this point in the series it has been used just about as much as it can, and instead of being funny it is now wearing a little thin. There are still some light and funny moments here, but all too often the jokes fall flat (that is to say there has to be some humour behind the gag.) Again there is not really a story here and the issue suffers as a result. By comparison the first two issues had a story and that at least provided a frame on which to lay on the farcical musings of Ambush Bug. With this all being that's left it feels more like a protracted wrap-up here than an actual issue which provides a sense of entertainment. Only some well timed references in the past two issues gave any semblance of something better here.
