    Wow, was this issue great, or what?  While letting Lois temporarily have Kryptonian powers for a day,  they run into obvious Silver Age characters Atlas and Samson, who try hitting on Lois. Ol' Supes doesn't like that one bit. Lois gets a kick out of it and lets them go through a "super contest" to see who gets her. There's a few turns when the time traveling Samson reveals that he knows that Superman will eventually die, as well as steals jewelry from an ancient mythological creature.This is aw...

     For Lois Lanes birthday Superman decides to give her a potion that will grant her a protion of Supermans powers for 24 hours. Unfortunately before she can enjoy them, Samson and Atlas show up to challenge Superman to games of strength, with Lois as the prize.     So far the one thing All Star Superman has going for it over most all of the books on the shelves these days is an extraordinary sense of fun. I have to admit that the art is something that needs getting used to, yet I kind of like it ...
