    All Star Batman issue 1 review

    Oh where...oh where...to begin? Romita jr. Art work on the cover looks great. The cover simply says pick me up and read or you're in for a batrang to the face or swift kick in the butt for not acknowledging that it's here. Scott Snyder on the script again. Do I really need to say more? If you said yes or no it doesn't really matter because I'm going to tell you anyway. If you like action you got it with the second turn of the page( Im including the cover on the turn.). If you like doing detective work and figuring out what's up next with out having your hand held and being told what's coming you got it. Straight up this series is gonna rock . Really like that Alfred has got more secrets to tell and the batman family is growing.Anyway all around great read, can't wait for more.

      I have been waiting all year on this and my goodness I'm looking forward to reading this every month. Snyder just has that special creative mind set when it's Batman and the artwork was awesome as well...so far DC Rebirth has been everything I had hoped, but I am still craving a Shazam solo monthly...

      Okay, right of the bat(no pun) the Romita cover just doesn't work. However, his interiors, especially the page layouts, were fine. I find Romita is much better on a title with an individual character and not a team book. The story was nothing special, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. It ends with it stating they have gone 1 mile with 400-something to go and he's driving a semi. He's gone a mile, call in another bat-vehicle. And $5 for each issue is ridiculous.
