A not so good ending to a good series
As this was the last issue of the series, which i followed all the way through and liked a great deal, i had high hopes for this final issue. Unfortunately, it kind of looked like a fast-made- ending before the coming Secret Wars. Maria Hill shows up on the X-men's doorstep, telling them 'she knew all along where they where hiding' (which is correct since Magneto worked as a mole for SHIELD for some time). It still felt strange to me that SHIELD would play their hand for all to see so fast, especially if you know the reason of their coming. Apparently, a group of unknown mutants resided in the former X-Men base of Utopia. When SHIELD went in to discover the purpose of the mutants, the SHIELD team was attacked and never returned. Instead of seeking help from, lets say, the Avengers, or the Jean Grey School X-Men, SHIELD goes to a group of 'terrorist' mutants they have been hunting throughout the series, and ask them to find out about the mutants in Utopia. These actions caused the story to be less believable. Perhaps it is best to read Uncanny X-Men Vol.3 issue 34 before you read this comic, as it explains why SHIELD would no longer hunt the All-New X-Men, and focused their priorities on Cyclops and Emma Frost.
