All-New Wolverine 011
I have been following this series from the beginning and I have very much enjoyed. It has presented great stories, great characters, and great battles, but it is with this new issue that I find a bit of fault.
To begin with, what is going on with Captain America? I understand he is a soldier and taking orders is what he was trained to do, but Cap has always stood for one thing above everything else: freedom. "Operation Minority Report" is not the best plan, and I have to admit, I though Cap would agree with Iron Man here, and not Captain Marvel, that the future must run its own course. Becoming involved only creates more problems.
This is why I am very excited for the next issue, because it will be interesting to see how Cap reacts to the fact that his trying to protect Gabby from Old Man Logan killing her is what caused her death. If S.H.I.E.L.D. had not come after Logan, him and Gabby would not have escaped on jet-pack, and he would not have killed her in the end.
Now, he could have been planning to kill her the whole time, or it may have just been all the drugs/tranquilizers in his system. Especially since we don't know who he is referring to when he impales Gabby.
Who knows what the future will bring? Will Gabby heal? Will Laura kill Logan? Will captain America see the wrong in what S.H.I.E.L.D. is doing?
