And the Winner For Most Memorable Tag Line is...

By The Angry Comic Book Critic
"In Space No One Can Hear You Scream." That has to be one of the most memorable tag lines in cinematic history and it is to expected to have come from an amazing film. Alien this probably has to be Ridley Scott's greatest achievement I mean I have yet to meet one person who does not know of this Sci-fi classic. Now I love this movie to death but my god I had no idea the characters in this film aside from Ripley were so fucking retarded I mean you have this alien creature attached to this guys face and you let him in the ship?It just so stupid I mean you have absolutely no idea what this thing does I mean for all you know it could turn him into a six pack of frosty bud light (this advertisement was paid for by the Budwiser brewery beer is not guaranteed frosty) or in this case have an alien baby burst through his chest right in the middle of dinner getting blood on everything...fuck I was gonna eat that cheese burger!
Now bare with me for a moment they had a chance to kill the thing while it was just sitting their dumbfounded and you know what? They let it go how stupid can these people be?Now this film had amazing special effects for the time I mean the space ship and the alien world looked incredibly realistic and the effects with the chestburster were fantastic and scared the hell out of me as a kid and the alien it was a little cheesy considering how slow it moved but it looked fantastic. Now the acting in this film was great same thing with character development Ripley going from a background character to the hero and from Lambert going from confident to whinny little bitch. Now where would this film have been without the ending Ripley blows up the ship in an explosion that looks remarkably like the effects in 2001 Space Odyssey and then fight the Alien in her ship blasts it out into space a makes it nice and crispy in the ship's engine now that was kick ass by all accounts and standards. Now I personally would have rather had Dallas survive rather than Ripley cause he was the coolest character in this film he was bad ass and had huge plentiful balls because you and I know it takes stones of steel to confront an Alien where it lives and for that Dallas you win the hero of the Week award for that show of ballsmenship. Now this film left one hell of a legacy in spawn numerous sequels and cross over some good some bad but no one can ever beat the one the only the original Alien.

I had the luxury of sorts of seeing this movie as a kid.  Granted, I may have been too young to see the movie, but my Dad and I shared a love for Sci-Fi and he took me to see this with him at the Drive-In.  Wonder how many Viners have been to a Drive-In Theatre...... Regardless,  I  was enamored with Sigourney Weaver and I also damn near pooped myself during the scene where the alien breaks through the character's chest.  Oh, yeah, I think it made a lot of people jump, and that scene alone is wo...
