    Origin

    Algol and the civilization he was born to, existed before recorded history. Not much is known from this period, but what is known is Algol was known as the Hero King. His strength of spirit allowed him to over the evil essence and influence of the Soul Blade weapon and use it for good and the good of the lands. Algol would also create the Soul Calibur weapon. In death his spirit would travel to the Astral Chaos, where he would begin a transformation.

    He would eventually reemerge with a new agenda to control the world.

    Creation

    Algol was created by Hideo Yoshie for the video game Soul Calibur. The character appears as the boss for Soulcalibur IV.
