On his own in the woods after leaving the Tanners, ALF helps take care of a family of beavers in "Babe In the Woods – Part 2." Then ALF tells Lynn about the time on Melmac when he had to guard a V.I.D. – Very Important Diva in "A Night at the I-Hopera." And in "I'd Like to Buy a Vowel," ALF loses the ability to speak vowels and has trouble communicating with the Tanners.
