Alcibiabes took his daughter Arianne on the run and hid from the wizards of Vilerus. Vilerus tortured him to threaten him to constantly use his spells to find valuable minerals like ore. When Alcibiabes refused he was tortured. One the run, Alcibiabes has cast a shield spell to protect him and his daughter from being detected by other wizards serving Vilerus. This shield has also hidden them from others near the forest where they are.
Conan, one day finds a weakness in the shield and takes an interest in Alcibiades' daughter.
