I enjoyed the Courtyard when I read it ages ago (both in prose and in comic adaption).  I do know that Neonomicon is the sequel and this comic now is not mandatory since the story pages were reprinted complete in the first issue of Neonomicon.  The real selling feature and the real reason to keep this comic is the scripts.  I love Moore's work that is no secret, but this comic does fail to bring in new readers.  The bridge to the Courtyard is missed if you have not read it.  Neocomicon is a jump...
