    This story takes place on Earth-295, an alternate Marvel universe. After the death of Charles Xavier at the hands of his own son Legion, his friend Magneto gathers a group of mutants to fight against the oppressive reign of Apocalypse.

    I liked missing eye Cyclops and missing hand Wolverine. I liked Magneto being the leader of the X-Men to. 10th anniversary edition was my fav though.

    missing hand Wolverine pissed me off the most....if he would have just taken that stupid metal thing off the stub then his hand would have grown back

    I thought because Logan's healing factor was not as efficient that he couldn't grow the hand back. "
    he grew back his entire arm once in the 616 universe when  a t-rex bit it off and his healing factor was no different than the AoA's Weapon X

    @Edamame:  no just all of the stuff around the bone was tore off...his new hand wouldn't have been coated in adamantium but he would have had a hand

    I actually liked the death of Scarlet Witch in the first issue..... it's not that I don't like the character, but I like that her death had a purpose.... unlike the majority of the character deaths (like the Inhumans that followed soonafter). I also really liked Morph (I don't know who doesn't, really). Didn't like the drama between Gambit, Magneto, and Rogue..... thought it was out of character for each party (maybe not Rogue, but the others......), and a lot of the exclusive AoA creations bugged the hell out of me.

    I'm a sucker for the alternate universe stuff so I loved every bit of it. I liked the sibling rivalry between Scott & Alex. I also liked the fact that Rogue was finally happy and was married to Magneto.
