I just wanted to take the time to tell everybody who hasn't read Bachalo and Lobdell's Generation Next #1 to #4 in the Age of Apocalypse storyline how FRICKIN AWESOME it is.
 
I have never been a massive fan of Generation X, but the team dynamic in these short issues really made me fall in love with certain characters in diffferent ways. Kitty and Peter are written with subtle differences apart from their "main" storyline doppelgangers that grabbed me instantly. Kitty is fierce, domineering and a just a step above her main world self. Colossus is Colossus, but his leadership makes him take some really tough choices which just add another layer to his legend.
 
I had to give this volume justice by adding all the plot lines that have been missing from this story arc. Please check them out if and when you have time. Generation Next

It was an amazing story at the time, but the ending still haunts me over a decade later.

AoA is still one of my all time favorite storylines based soley on nostalgia

I don't mind guys! I have only read the first two chapters of SC, but it's good. It will never be AoA though!
