Afterthought last edited by The_Kidd on 04/28/20 02:13AM View full history

Very little is known about Afterthought. He was the subject of an experiment that created a quantum window to the immediate future in his mind; whether his participation was voluntary is unclear. He may not be a criminal, or at least has never been arrested; despite this, he was invited to join, or volunteered for, the Suicide Squad.

Afterthought was created by Steve Orlando and ACO. He made his first appearance in Midnighter #9

    Major Story Arcs

After Midnighter steals a valuable pistol from a Suicide Squad installation, Afterthought is sent alongside Deadshot and Harley Quinn to recover it. Due to his powers, he is a match for Midnighter and easily defeats him in combat. He later confronts Midnighter again, but Midnighter is able to overwhelm and defeat him. He is taken into custody by Spyral.

    Powers and Abilities

Afterthought's brain has been infused with an experimental system that allows him to observe events five seconds into the future, which makes him a formidable opponent in combat. He is also a skilled hand-to-hand combatant.
