Afternoon: Seasons Zōkan » 14 issues

Proper Japanese Title: アフタヌーン シーズン増刊

This was the second ongoing Afternoon special issue to use the name Seasons, the first one was released over a decade earlier when the magazine was just starting and as such is much more obscure. This incarnation of the special issue lasted for fourteen issues and after it ended, some of its serials like Mushishi were moved to the main Afternoon magazine. The line-up of this magazine did rely heavily on the major authors that were publishing in the main Afternoon magazine and several short works by them were serialized here (like Ohikkoshi or NOiSE). After this magazine ended, Afternoon did not have another ongoing special issue until good! Afternoon six years later.
