"Point of View" finds Gangbuster's heroism being put to the test.

Notes:

  • Millennium Week 7 crossover.
  • This issue is split into two similar stories: The top half involves Lex Luther, Celia Windward and Combattor and the bottom half involves Lois Lane, Gangbuster and Combattor.
    • 1) Lex Luthor is telling Celia Windward a hypothetical story of a villain named Combattor battling Superman.
    • 2) Jose Delgado and Lois Lane go out on a movie date and the villain Combattor attacks the movies theater and takes Lois hostage in hopes of luring Superman into battle. Instead of Superman showing up for the rescue it is Gangbuster.
  • On page 1 panel 3 the Metro Theatre was showing Good Morning Saigon starring Robin Williams and the movie Mr. Scuba.
  • Gangbuster was paralyzed by Combattor.

Gang-BUSTED! Wonderful side-by-side story telling 0

Here we got half a comic x 2, two stories, essentially the same story told twice. And it's such a great job. It's the 7th week of the "Millenium" and Luthor tries to manipulate Celia into distrusting superheroes, (I think she had already shown her doubts in superheroes before). He tries to seduce her with a meal, a classic "wine and dine". In the mean time Lois is telling her story of a humble date at the movies, as told to the public through a paper.In other words, we have two of Metropolis' bi...
