Letter to Home
This issue is divided in two stories: First there´s the conclusion of the Legion Academy students´adventure in the world of Phlon, where after a decent display of power by Glorith, Chemical Boy learns the bitter truth about his father and how life play some tricks on us when the subject is about authority - also, in this same story penciled by Phil Jimenes in an awesome way (I particulaly loved how he penciled the page showing tons of spacecrafts hovering the starport), there´s a great test of Lamprey and Power Boy, to see if they´re fit to join the Leggionaires´ranks - the second story is a tale of struggle by Black Witch and a display of love by Blok, this was a more dense story, penciled by Geraldo Borges, with not so interesting dialogues, unless you´re following this character since she became the embodiement of Mordru in issue # 4 of this series - I prefer the first story, especially the test story, mostly because of how the panels are in place, combining in perfect balance the writing and art - I guess this series is devoted for a kind of reader that likes this notion of future, if you want to explore new faces and completely new characters, this is the DC comic for you.
