The Secret Six crashes in Action Comics!

Synopsis: The fate of Lex and his company rests on The Secret Six. daughter against father! Also, Jimmy goes on a blind date.

    What's good?

Fans of Secret Six should enjoy this issue despite not knowing what entirely is going on. Knowing a little bit about the Secret Six, I know that when they show up, all hell breaks loose. I also think that Paul Cornwell is an evil genius to bring Vandal Savage and Scandal Savage together.

Jimmy Olsen's Big Week day four is still fun to read. After saving Earth from a party having group of aliens, you'd think Jimmy deserves some kind of recognition....being in a date auction isn't it. It doesn't help matters when Chloe and Sebastian show up. But oh, the biggest surprise is Jimmy's date.

All this is achieved by the art team of Pete Woods and Brad Anderson. The Secret Six make an impact   I also enjoy RB Silva with Jimmy Olsen's Big Week.

    What's bad?

Still no idea on why Lex is obsessed with finding the black spheres. Lex side of the story is outweighed by Vandal Savage and the Secret Six. Also, It's a crossover book. Normally I don't mind this, but for those who want to find out what happens, you'll have to read the next Secret Six issue. Minor complaint.

Also, Jimmy Olsen's Big Week ends with this issue, only not to conclude with an ending. You'll have to pick up the oneshot issue to find out what happens when it comes out in March. Another minor complaint.

Overall: It seems that I'll have to find out what happens in the next Secret Six issue. I for one will definitely check out Jimmy Olsen when it hits in March.

Maybe Lex Needs To Find the Black Ring Energy Already 0

Lex Luthor's quest to uncover the secrets to the Black Ring energy continues with the Secret Six and Vandal Savage along for the ride.  The Good Lex is always the schemer. It's great seeing him make contingency plans just in case things go badly. His stand off against Vandal Savage heats up as the Secret Six jump in and things get messy. There are hints towards the involvement of someone else in Lex's mission as the Lois-Bot has an interesting conversation with the memory-download clone of Mr. M...

The Black Ring On a Decline? 0

The Good: The opening scene with Luthor and Scandal Savage is the same kind of beautifully written scene I've come to expect from Cornell. The dialogue is witty and clever, and everything I've come to love about this story. We get some pretty insane plot revelations. There's a huge one that calls all the way back to #890, and actually doesn't really tell us a whole lot, but brings up some wild implications that I didn't see coming in the least. There's A LOT of Action. It's pretty crazy, but coh...
