Well you didn't mention her for the sake of diminishing one or the other...

Aang is a 9 imo. Which says something about the series since I like Iroh, Zuko, Azula, and Katara more with Toph about as much.

Solid 8, also I hope people don't bring Korra into this to diminish one of the two.

I really liked how he grew in the series and changed from a kid that was afraid of his responsibilities to someone who's become a warrior the world needs him to be and takes his responsibility head on. He has his flaws but he's still a likeable and admirable character. My only gripe is how they made him run away afraid of Ozai at the end into a Earth sphere just to activate his AS. Totally takes his arc a step back, the only reason I'm not giving him a 9/10.

A 7? Maybe an 8? I'd probably vote a 7.5, but for the sake of this poll, I'll just go with an 8.

He's a genuinely likable protagonist (which isn't as common as it should be), and the good thing about his character flaws is that they're intentional. He's not my favorite, but fairly high. Probably top 10.

5, I have no strong feelings about Aang. He serves his role in the story fine and thats all I have to say about him really. His decision making in the series finale annoyed me, but that's less an Aang flaw and more a Dues Ex Lion Turtle flaw.

5. He was an average protagonist that got carried by the supporting characters.

9/10. Excellent character with a botched conclusion to his character arc.

Aang is a great role model. He tries to reason with others and chooses the path of least violence. He is full of optimism. He can be wise and also very playful and youthful. Aang isn't like most main characters, and I love that about him. He has grown throughout the show accepting his responsibilities and not running from them. Aang stays true to who he is even with the weight of the world on his arrow. Like the show, he was well written.

9/10. He is a great character with believable flaws. He grows throughout the story without actually changing his overall personality, and is just very likable.
