    Way back when this series started, I was skeptical. I wasn't sure how a weekly comic would translate and it smelled of a way for DC to get readers to plop down $2.50 each week. I still don't want to do the math and figure out how much this entire series cost me. But it's been a good read. I never would've thought these B and C level characters could carry the book for a year.Now we're almost at the end. It feels like something big is coming yet don't we have a pretty good idea already? It's...

    This is quite a clever issue (just look at that cover.)  While the Justice Society has come to a bit of an impasse outside the main complex on Oolong Island, inside the things are also starting fall apart.  There are a couple of interesting developments, but they all revolve around Doctor Magnus who has apparently been planning something for a while.  With him on the inside and the heroes in deliberations outside with the Chinese superheroes, by the time they do get inside there is not much left...
