A Wonderful Reading Voice
After the last issue's revelations it might have been hard to keep as much momentum going here in the series, but it really does here, and now so much by intricate plots but by strong character development. On the subject of intricate plots though there is a bit going on here as well as the action finally cuts back to Oolong Island and the introduction of the Horsemen, the result of the work of all the (mad) scientists. The part with Natasha and John Henry is well handled as well, but the real emotional center of this issue is Renee and her quest to return Vic to Nanda Parbat. As much as a journey to save him, the reader quickly realizes that this is a journey to save herself as well, even if she as a character is unaware. This was very gripping writing and gave a lot of weight to this issue, making a quite well written product in the end.
