    I had never read a valiant comic before, but now I am totally into it. This issue is beautiful. The art is some of the best I have ever seen. I dont know anything about the characters, but the writing introduces the story in a way that is accessible to new readers. I can't wait for the next issue and it has me interested in valient for the first time ever. Worth the cover price 2Xs over. Perfect first issue....
