Yakumo died -- and his life will never be the same again. He's become a zombie, courtesy of his newly found friend Pai, herself an immortal being with strange powers and a talent for attracting trouble. His only course seems to be to leave Japan -- and his old life -- behind forever. But when the marauding monster called the Gesu attacks, he's got to stand his ground and defend Pai.
