    Lapsing a Little Too Much into Cartoony Territory 0

    The third issue of 300 is the day immediately preceding the Battle of Thermopylae. If you've only ever seen the movie version of this narrative (the latest movie version that is; the one adapted from this comic) you really ought to check it out. There are some subtle differences in the story of Ephialtes, the deformed Spartan who wishes to join Leonidas' troops, only to be rejected, and the goat path behind the Spartan phalanx. This is however the weakest of the first three issues, as the art - ...
