Attuma invades Canada with Torg as their mental slave because of the Control Pearl in the hands of an Atlantean mystic called Serestus. The Avengers respond and engage Torg and Attuma's army. Torg was relieved of his mental control when Triathlon removed the Control Pearl from the hands of Serestus. Torg was knocked back into the ocean and Attuma's Atlantean army retreated.
