Plot

28 days after the outbreak of the highly contagious rage virus, a bicycle courier named Jim wakes from a coma to explore a silent and derelict London.

When he is set upon by the blood-thirsty infected, however, Jim is rescued by a pair of survivors.

Although one of the survivors Selena seems only focused on surviving (at any cost), Jim believes there's more to life than simply living.

Not long in their journey are they forced to cross paths with the father and daughter pair Frank and Hannah, who are only kind and welcoming to Selena and Jim.

When they hear word on a transmitter of "the answer to infection", the four set off to investigate and salvage what they can from an apocalyptic England.
