    Avengers Academy #15 (Fear itself tie-in) Okay first I'd like to say that this issue handled the concept of war pretty well. I really like how Gage incorporates the students' emotions into each of their actions and that's what I really liked about this issue, but we'll discuss that later. NOW here's what happened in the issue. SO Avengers Academy is caught in Fear itself. Hank has to go and stop the out break of Raft Prison. He takes Justice and Quicksilver to help him. He commands Tigra to stay...

    My favorite Fear Itself tie in so far... 0

    The writing on this book's been REALLY uneven for me. It started out strong, then started to sag about 7 or 8 issues in, then REALLY picked up again at about issue 12. That said, Gage is handling the students situation in Fear Itself PERFECTLY. They're a bunch of scared kids that are gonna learn a lot about themselves, whether they want to or not. The students get deployed to handle civilian evacuation in Washington DC, and it starts to get a little hairy, with Tigra feeling(somewhat justifiably...

    Avengers Academy is under rated. It is that simple. This is a book about super hero's with flaws. About the possibility of potential and the trappings of a second (or third) chance.While the rest of the Marvel U is slowly being dragged into the events of Fear Itself any card carrying member of the Avengers is knee deep in a bucket of hurt.Still dealing with events from the last few issues the students of the Academy are still learning to be hero's and to fight their insecurities.
