    Loki disagree's with the drastic actions of the All Father and foresees a coming danger which is imperceptible to his Asgardian brethren. Problem is, being the god of mischief is one hell of a way to ruin a reputation. Allies in his quest aren't going to be easy to come by, seeing as how people would sooner cut your throat before you get the first syllable out and all.    The Good Love, love, love this cover if you read Issue 623 you'll totally appreciate the symbolism of this cover.     Whereas the last issue sought to reintroduce the characters from Asgard and give something of a jumping on point for the series, here we have a more firm estbalishemtn of a decent plot for the series.  I haven't been reading Fear Itself, so I am not sure what exactly is going with this series, but aside from the imprisonment of thor at the beginning of the issue which I couldn't exactly place why it happened so fast (I assume it is explained better elsewhere) the fun here really revolves around ...

    Finding His Place In All This 0

    The last issue did a great job of introducing us to the new Loki, an exciting concept that drives the plot, and thus my interest in it. Yet, in this issue, we take something of a step back from that to develop the world around him, specifically all this Serpent nonsense. And while it's still good, it's not quite on par with what we saw earlier.As mentioned above, most of this is about Loki figuring out his place in the new order of the world, what with Fear Itself happening.
