    The Mighty Thor--imprisoned by his own father!     Car Engine on a Winter's Day: A Metaphor 0

    Fear Itself rolls on with issue number two: with five issues to go (and tie-ins), has Fraction earned himself some wiggle room? The Good Fat Cobra is being previewed to be in crossovers. That's my favourite thing about the issue. Not that I hated the rest of it; I just really liked Immortal Iron Fist. I really like the aesthetic of the hammerbearers. The art is amazing in this issue; that's all Immonen. I like the contrast in styles between the Avengers, Nazi and Serpent portions of the story,...

      Cover I really love this cover and it seems that every issue they are going to change the color. I think that is pretty cool. Also the art I am very satisfied with and it is great that it is the same art as inside the issue. Story Flying hammers crash down to earth and have chosen people to wield it. But no one can explain why they are crashing down to earth not even the superheroes. Best Part In Book One the only characters that really shined were Captain America and Thor. You had to...

    Matt Fraction and Stuart Immonen's second issue of Fear Itself focuses primarily on debuting the Worthy, or most of them at least. The hammers hit the surface, and the story shifts from landing site to landing site doing an effective job at introducing each of the characters to claim a hammer.I am generally hard on Fraction's writing for its slow pacing and dragged out story premises.
