    The background of Striker is revealed in this issue. This issue explores his family background and upbringing and his mother's plans for him. Also, an enemy from Hank Pym's past returns to confront him and his new students. With their cover blown how will the public react to the next generation of Avengers?

    While getting a midnight snack Striker runs into Jocasta and tells him about the week. First he flashbacks to when the Avengers Academy is practicing unarmed combat with Captain Steve Rogers on Monday. After the lesson Striker reminiscent about his past when he was a child and his fame obsessed mother made him a super star get in the spotlight. He also remembers their manager named Rick who was a pedophile, but was when Striker first used his powers. Soon after his mother took him to the hospital and soon after everything changed for Striker.

    Striker was recruited by Norman Osborn soon after, but was not harmed by him like the other and was given anything he wanted. Next he flashbacks to Wednesday where Striker start to hook up with Veil and Finesse after training. Later on Friday the Avengers Academy are walking home after seeing a show when Whirlwind shows up and challenges the Hank Pym with the teens at his side. The team then fights Whirlwind with Striker finishing him with a blast of electricity, after the fight camera people and fans come toward the team and they go quickly into the mansion. The team's actions then spread across the news and the student's identities become publicly known.

    After Veil goes to tell Justice when she sees her kissing Ultra-Girl. Soon after she goes to Striker's room, kisses him and ask if he wanted to have sex, but he want to at the time. Now back with Striker and Jocasta in the kitchen, Striker's mother calls to check on him. They then talk about the fight with Whirlwind and under the fact that Striker's mom planned everything smoothly as planned.

    Review: Avengers Academy #5 0

    After reflecting on his own background as a celebrity, Striker schemes of some dangerous ways to gain more for the academy (with a particular emphasis on himself.) The Good As odd as it sounds, I think I like this book for the fact the academy members are less likable. I'm all for iconic heroes, but this comic's refreshing for the fact that it's a New Warriors book that finally admits that the new generation of heroes might actually be a lot more spoiled and a lot less noble than their predeces...

    Story: The issue starts off with Striker talking to Jocasta and he is going to tell her about his week. The Avengers Academy students are having an unarmed combat session with Steve Rogers and he is taking them down all by himself. He's showing them how important unarmed combat can be and how fatal it is. Striker gives Steve and Hank attitude about not having any publicity for being on the Avengers Academy team. Steve is talking to Hank and notices that Striker is the only person who has ever be...

    This is the 5th issue of Avengers Academy and I will explain the title in the good section.  The Story:We start the issue with Striker getting something to eat but gets scared by Jocasta but because of her relationship with Ultron,as in being married and every night they talk to each other she doesn't respond.So Striker tells her about the last and we are taken to monday were they are being taught by Steve Rogers about proper hand to hand combat and Hazmat is whinning.After training Stiker asks ...
