    Bright but with some clouds 0

    Here is the 2nd, zero was the 1st, chapter of Brightest Day and I enjoyed the heck out of it!  Yep we have our 12 returnees but not all are featured here and as suspected we will have quite the time following their lives post Blackest Night.  Aquaman calls up dead animals the same as when he was a Black Lantern!  Sinestero makes his presence known.  Oh, and yep just like the "other king wannabe" he can lift the sword from the ....wait wrong story.  He couldn't lift the White Lantern battery!  We...

    Following up the lackluster #0 issue, Johns has picked up the pace and laid fine groundwork for what looks like it will be a worthwhile and intriguing story arc.  Despite the lack of Maxwell Lord in this issue, as well as a handful of new questions that need answers, there is a breath of anticipation and excitement that I now feel going into further issues.  As happened with issue #0, Boston Brand is still being transported between "The Twelve", witnessing events that are occurring for each of t...

    More Questions Than Answers 0

    In my attempts to begin reading the Green Lantern titles, I've included this in my pull list. I'm not so sure it is absolutely necessary for me to understand the Green Lanterns or their history. Not reading Blackest Night hurt me a bit while reading this as well.   I love the art but the stories inside (following the resurrected characters) are all like the last few minutes of a TV show. Nothing answered and now you can't wait to see the next episode. So the whole issue could be summed up as 'wa...
