    In this second issue by the dynamic duo of Paul Dini (DETECTIVE COMICS) and Dustin Nguyen (BATMAN), Commissioner Gordon teams with the new Batman to combat the fiery threat that Firefly has spread across Gotham City. And to make matters worse, the mysterious adversary known only as Abuse makes his presence felt!       In this issue we see the chaos caused by last issues cliffhanger.  Firefly has implanted many Gothamites with a substance that can set them on fire from within at Fireflys command.  Hush takes advantage of the chaos and uses it to escape his prison in the cave.  In the mean time Black Mask confronts Firefly, and is shown that he was no longer in Black Masks control.   This book continues to impress me.     I missed the first issue of the series but I figured that I wasn't missing much. As far as I've read Street of Gotham and Batman and Robin seem to be action packed as opposed to the recent issues of Batman (688). I feel that Batman series deals with Dick's psyche as he takes on the role of the iconic Dark Knight.
