I also enjoyed the story, flashbacks can be annoying but in this issue it’s used to great effect. T’challa has always been a bit arrogant and this is where it becomes his undoing. I never expected him to flinch when facing doom because frankly does T’challa ever flinch? Cause I’ve never seen that. This issue is a great jumping on point. As it...

    The story telling here is maybe a bit cliched, especially for a new number 1 comic series. It uses one of the most common comic book cliches on its cover, the gender switch of a prominent male character to a female one, and doens't really provide any answers from beginning to end, only leaving it resting on some mild cliffhanger. While there is a decent amount of cliche here, it is not so much that it exists, but rather how well it is presented. As a medium which repeats itself a lot anyway,...
