CIVIL WAR Tie-In! The Civil War continues to rage through Cap’s life, tearing apart every life it touches! In Part 2 of the 3-part ‘DRUMS OF WAR’ arc, we find out how the Red Skull is taking advantage of the split in the hero community to lay plans for his greatest revenge, and the Winter Soldier comes face to face with Cap once again, but which side will he choose? By Top Ten Writer Ed Brubaker and Mike Perkins.

We open with a shot of the Winter Soldier climbing a building with the story title and chapter making up one whole side of the building...very Jim Steranko-ish.(!!)This building is in fact a S.H.I.E.L.D. safe house and Winter Soldier has broken in. Once securely in he confronts a L.M.D. of Nick Fury (still in deep hiding) and after a brief fight with it, shuts it down. W.S. then boots up a holographic, "real-time" Nick Fury, who talks him through a reprogram of this L.M.D. so it will be Fury's eyes and ears from now on.(We are led to believe that Bucky is in the know on Fury's whereabouts. But is he the only one who knows?)W.S. has now left, undetected, and we see him fool a "cape-killer" team into believing that an image of Wolverine is really Wolverine. This allows W.S. to ambush this team and steal the tachnology of this teams power suits for Fury. Meanwhile, the Red Skull is seen in Latveria in the presence of one Doctor Doom !! Just what are they up to?
