    Part 2 of a the 5-part "Staring at the Wall." With one of his reluctant allies dead before the battle is joined, the omens are bad for John's face-off with the shadow dog. But he hasn't even come close to imagining what's at stake for him, for Angie and for the world. And in the end, victory may be the one luxury he can't afford.
