It was so bad and so boring. I usually enjoy Snyder's work, but Rebel Moon was awful.

But I thought it was WB's fault for Snyder being mid.

Was this a back to back production? Wasn't the first one released only a few months ago?

Ed Wood's movies still have a cult following half a century later. I doubt Snyder will be able to achieve that.

I honestly have to wonder if Snyder's career is finally done.

After the DCEU fiasco, it's obvious that Netflix was his only hope. And after colossally failing them not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES by now, I have to think he's just over.

I have to think that, even in the best case scenario, he'd still have to do what M Night Shymalan did and start at the bottom working with low-ish budget projects.

@mrmonster: I don't think Snyder can get much better, he might only get worse as he continues. Shyamalan is better than him.

Yeah, now that I think about it, I don't think Snyder would even want to go the Shymalan route of starting with low budget movies again. It's clear he just wants empty spectacle at this point, nothing that could be achieved with a low budget.

Very entertaining film, great visuals, loved the designs from the drop ships, creatures, to some of the costumes, including jimmys hern the hunter garb. It might have been said, but it had a space magnificent 7 feel. It wasn't snyders best work, but it was worth the watch

It really sucks that he just can't correct his weak areas, because I really appreciate him going all in on an original story. This failure is just more incentive for Hollywood to never make original movies again.

Thank your lucky stars Snyder didn’t get his hands on Star Wars, or else Rebel Moon would have been canon

He deserves the critique if only due to the horrendous choice of actors in lead + that awful camera lens he obsessed about. Worst experience ever to watch it in my home theatre

Snyder just needs to accept the fact he should just work on cinematography

@j_normal: He's not even great as a cinematographer, Larry Fong did the cinematography for most of his films. Without him, Snyder won't have great visuals going for him either.
