Copper is one of the two co-protagonists of the film "Fox and the Hound". He is Amos Slade's second hunting dog. Brought to Slade's country house as a puppy, Copper befriended the only other pup in the area. That was was Tod, a young fox raised by Widow Tweed. When the pups grew to adulthood, Tod was released to the wild and Copper was forced to hunt for a living. Changing the two friends to reluctant enemies.
Tod the Fox is one of the two co-protagonists of the film "Fox and the Hound". His mother was killed by Amos Slade when Tod was but a cub. He was taken in by Widow Tweed and raised along another cub, Copper the Hound. As an adult he was released into the wild and found himself the prey of his old buddy.
