    Good ending for this first "Arc" 0

    The Good   The first thing I must say is that I love the alternate covers by Brian Bolland, IMO Zatanna looks a little creepy (but only a little) when he draws her, in general I like his style very much. One of the things I like about the Zatanna comic is that ever since it began it has been good, the story is simple and fun and it doesn't try to be an over the top comic. I liked the way her father appeared but it was a little too brief for my taste. I hope that in the future we see guest from o...

    Zatanna vs Brother Night 0

    Its time for a confrontation between Zee and Brother Night.  Pros:    This issue had a good pace to the action. The battle with Brother Blood's minions against Zatanna was something needed again as it was both comical and that she easily took down Blood's minions. There's also another scene worth a chuckle with Zee turning one of her assistants into herself in disguise for her show. Again, Stephane Roux's artwork is great. The cover has that dark feel as Brother Blood is on the cover. I love the...

    First Arc Done. Thank God!  I am not hating this series, but I am not loving it as well.  Rumor has it that the series too so long to come out because of Zatanna and were the series should be released.  The series would eventually be released here in the DCU, when her Prestige Everyday Magic was a Vertigo release.  With Levitz gone from his office job and Didio in power, Zatanna's home is permanent at the DCU.  The effect of this being a DCU book is showing early off.  This series is ...
