One of Magneto`s mutant creations in The Savage Land. A member of The Savage Land Mutates. Amphibius is a batrachanthrope (Were-Frog) or a human/frog hybrid. He has the leg strength and nautical abilities of a frog.

Magneto's enemy in the Savage Land, possibly (but not likely) his daughter. Zaladane is a sorceress with the ability to wield and manipulate magic. She primarily has used these powers for mind control and limited energy projection. For a time she wielded the ability to control magnetism similar to Magneto, but of a more limited nature. She claimed to be a mutate (a mutagenically altered human rather than a born mutant). However, the nature of her mutation was never revealed. She was able to steal the powers of Polaris for a time and it is possible that this ability to steal superhuman powers was part of her mutation (although she needed the assistance of a machine).

Zaladane might have been Quicksilver's half-sister if her allegations that she was Magneto's daughter were true.
Forced to drain the life force of others to sustain himself, Karl Lykos lives a miserable existence. If his victim happens to be a mutant, the drained force sets off a terrifying transformation. Zaladane has used him to further her means in the Savage Land.
Vertigo is a member of the Savage Land Mutates, as well as one of Mr. Sinister's Marauders. She is able to project waves of psionic distortion that cause extreme disorientation and nausea in other living beings.
Whiteout is a Savage Land Mutate that is able to selectively blind people with light emitted from her body.
