Well the monster in the episode was apparently the YJ version of Brimstone, so it may as well be Darkseid or another Apokoliptian. However, the weapon he used was very unlike him, and I can't place that weapon on any villain I know. I'm not sure if he is the same guy as the Kroloteans' rival, which, if the Blue Beetle connection is true, will undoubtedly be the Reach.
Come to think of it, it may well be another Reach infiltrator like BB himself.
Good theory, I suppose I should ask if the Reach calls humans "meat" cause this mysterious figure seems to do that. good call, I would be willing to except this theory although Negotiator is usually a thinner dude, the shadowy character looks larger, and parts of his cannon were black. Also, the shows creators aren't above altering characters to better fit their story...time will tellI think they're going to connect this with the Reach, and if so, it's not Black Beetle. Plus, he called humans "meat." Black Beetle is human, so that wouldn't make much sense. As I've stated previously, my money's on the Negotiator.
After the human shaped silhouettes last week, part of me is thinking Titans Tommorrow. The use of Bart slang (Crashed the mode) strengthens this theory, although the alien language runs counter.
Things are really strange here. In "Bloodlines" I heard Bart call Neutron meat. Then later when the aliens/some dudes were monitoring Neutron they also referred to him as meat. Whats happening here? Is that Partner also from future like Bart?
its pretty much already confirmed to be Black Beetle! Although there is another, in the Bart Allen episode, there were TWO shadowy figures...we can guess that Black Beetle was one of them, but there was another. Deathstroke could be it, but it sounded more female to me.
The shadowy figures are an unrelated alien group weaponizing humans and speaking another language entirely.its pretty much already confirmed to be Black Beetle! Deathstroke could be it, but it sounded more female to me.
we know that's theirs two different shadows one is differently black beetle because of the comic con invasion trailer but i think the other is either a female reach or a female representative of darkseid

that's all the more reason for it to be black beetle after all he has the power of timetravel
