So does anyway have theories on who the Mysterious partner of the light is?

    No Caption Provided
Will it be as simple and obvious as Darkseid or will the creators put a little twist on it? They did a pretty good job throwing off their audience from making them think Red Arrow was the mole, so maybe they'll throw a curve ball and not make it as obvious as that.  All we really know about him is that he has a sonic weapon that can kill a giant Golem, He warned Aqualad that the bomb would go off in about five minutes, he's a fierce rival of the Kroloteans, one of the Kroloteans mistook Blue Beetle or Bumblebee as a worker for this guy, and the Kroloteans seem to think that he hired Lobo to reveal their presence to the world. It seems like they're just setting up Darkseid, but it also seems too obvious. Why make it it a mystery?

    So any theories?

Well the monster in the episode was apparently the YJ version of Brimstone, so it may as well be Darkseid or another Apokoliptian. However, the weapon he used was very unlike him, and I can't place that weapon on any villain I know. I'm not sure if he is the same guy as the Kroloteans' rival, which, if the Blue Beetle connection is true, will undoubtedly be the Reach.

Come to think of it, it may well be another Reach infiltrator like BB himself.

Good theory, I suppose I should ask if the Reach calls humans "meat" cause this mysterious figure seems to do that. Which is odd.

He is the Reach because Darkseid probably wouldnt show up till the end game. Also it might have been someone else that was contatcting the reach and introduced the Light to them.

It's the Black Beetle, or at the very least, a member of the Reach.

I think they're going to connect this with the Reach, and if so, it's not Black Beetle. Plus, he called humans "meat." Black Beetle is human, so that wouldn't make much sense. As I've stated previously, my money's on the Negotiator.

good call, I would be willing to except this theory although Negotiator is usually a thinner dude, the shadowy character looks larger, and parts of his cannon were black. Also, the shows creators aren't above altering characters to better fit their story...time will tell

After the human shaped silhouettes last week, part of me is thinking Titans Tommorrow. The use of Bart slang (Crashed the mode) strengthens this theory, although the alien language runs counter.

Things are really strange here. In "Bloodlines" I heard Bart call Neutron meat. Then later when the aliens/some dudes were monitoring Neutron they also referred to him as meat. Whats happening here? Is that Partner also from future like Bart?

@imranehsankhan: They weren't the same partner. Perhaps they are the guys who are his bosses, but the Partner seen with Sportsmaster is Black Beetle

its pretty much already confirmed to be Black Beetle! Although there is another, in the Bart Allen episode, there were TWO shadowy figures...we can guess that Black Beetle was one of them, but there was another. Deathstroke could be it, but it sounded more female to me.

The shadowy figures are an unrelated alien group weaponizing humans and speaking another language entirely.
