    Young Justice

Team » Young Justice appears in 269 issues.

Young Justice started as another legacy team consisting of a generation of sidekicks younger than the original Teen Titans lineup. Like the Teen Titans, they would eventually increase membership beyond sidekicks and make a name for themselves beyond their mentors.

Nothing political, just wondering if someone can help me out here:

I'm writing a spec episode of the "Young Justice" show and it involves a sort of xeno-specific virus. ...Are Thanagarians an evolved form of humans or are they their own thing? (Same question goes for Altanteans, though I'm about 99% sure they are human-based.)

Has anyone done any reading that could answer either of these 2 questions? Google yields no answers. *laughs*

    Thanks for your help!

@differentdoorknobs: Thanagarians are a different species, I believe Atlantiens are humans who evolved to life under water so they're most likely related to humans while not fully being human

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is correct.

@joshmightbe: Thanks for getting back to this so quickly!

It's weird: they keep being referred to as "humanoid", but I didn't know if the Wiki-writers meant just in appearance or biology...and nothing I'd read ever disputed or confirmed that.

@Billy Batson: Oh, no, no! *laughs* Nothing that cool.

A "spec" episode is...essentially fanfiction. *laughs* You write an episode of an already-existing show and add it to your portfolio. New screenwriters use them in an attempt to show agents/producers that they have the skills to write for various programs. (HIGHLY unlikely anything I write will actually end up on the YJ show, especially considering how set-in-stone they seem to have everything.)

    Sorry for the confusion!

By the way, your icon is VERY cynical and made me feel extremely guilty. *dies laughing*
