My friend bought be the first two TPB of the young avengers as a gift cause I mentioned I wanted to get into comics and she had always liked Young Avengers.

My question is since I haven't read anything ons on the civil war, secret invasion or dark reign (I may later read up on these but at the moment don't have the time of money to do it) should I bother reading those or should I go straight to "Young Avengers Presents" and "Avengers: Children's Crusade" or will I not understand if I skip them?

So please help a newbie out!

I'd personally just read Young Avengers Presents and Avengers: Children's Crusade.
