Proper Japanese Title: ユー
You began in 1980 as a special issue of Monthly Seventeen (a more fashion-oriented magazine), becoming its own proper magazine in 1982. Aimed at the josei (young adult women) demographic, which was still fairly new in manga at the time, You was soon followed by a number of spin-off magazines in the 80's, the most successful of the two being Young You and Office You.
Though it started out as a monthly and is one today, from 1993-2011, the magazine was released twice a month. It's also had its works published under a number of different brands over the decades such as You Comics or Queen's Comics and now, Margaret Comics.
