Yelena

History

Receiving special powers after the exposure to radiation for a nuclear central breakdown in Russia, Yelena, alongsite with many others, have been imprisoned into "La Cittadella degli Speciali" [The Citadel of Specials], a City Sized prison in Siberia, where the Soviet Government start to study them.

The first years of Yelena in prison are not known, but when he meet a man named Andreij, also a Special, the two fall in love. She was one of the most promising "Special" in the Citadel, since her powers, invisibility, seems not have the corruption drawback as all the others Specials have, and when she remain pregnant, La Divisione ["The Division", organization that control the Citadel for the Russian government] start to hope that she will give a birth to the first "natural born special". They even create a special suit for her, which adapt to her powers.

With the crumble of the Sovient in Russia, the Specials rebel and take the City of Specials, transforming into their revolutionary base. Andreij, Yelena and some others don't accept the new leadership and try to escape, prefering to be free instead than imprisoned under some sort of "Revolutionary Special Leader", but Yelena sacrifice itself for grant escape to Andreij, which was carring into a bag their son (which will became Michele Silenzi, the Invisible Boy, inerheriting her powers).

SPOILER:

At the end of the film and the comics, is shown that Yelena is still alive, and now she lead La Divisione, transformed into a corrupted superpowered mercenary/criminal organization. It's also revealed that she and Andreij have two twing child, not only Michele, but also a missing daughter, hidden by Andreij in Turkey.
