Their first connection. Cut to : Her in the Australian Outback, after the plague hit, discussing a theory on the population boom. Cut to : A halloween where Yorrick has promised to never leave her. Cut to : Meeting his family for the first time, Hero warns her that Yorrick will drag her down. Cut to : A dream of the time she tells Yorrick she is going to Australia. It then gets weird as Yorrick is getting kidnapped by a giant Ampersand. Beth turns into a superhero and flies up to save him. She does, and he tells her. I'm Alive. she believes it.
