New storyline. What might art and entertainment be in a world without men? The performers of the Fish & Bicycle Traveling Theater Company and a monkey with a knife wound may hold the answer.

In This issue we meet a theater troupe, who travel the country to give the women entertainment. They are practicing a version of The Pirates Of Penzance when a woman from a near by town comes up to them and asks if they could preform some continuations of the soap operas they used to watch.

In the middle of the night a little girl who is traveling with the troupe hears a noise that sounded like a monster. While standing guard the women begin chatting about reasons the men may have died, when all of a sudden, they hear the noise also.

After looking around they find a hurt Ampersand, and they take him back to their tent to patch him up. When they do they discover he is male. Thinking it is a sign they decide to write a play about the last man on earth. As the chapter comes to an end we see what looks to be a ninja spying on the troupe.

First of all, this has to be one of the best covers of the series. Now about the issue. I think the main character, the "last man" is probably the worst character in the series. He doesn't appear in this issue, and it's sort of a relief. Y: The Last Man is one of the best comic sagas of the last couple decades, so check out this issue, and all the other ones....
