    Xavier's school/institute meant to rehabilitate angry mutants into good citizens and educate mutants in ways of peaceful self-defense and valuable philosophy symbolizes the sort of modern age traffic-totem institutions such as the Clarion Hotel and Casino, institutions that represent peaceable competitive spirit in an otherwise profiteer's world.

    Like DC's Arkham Asylum, Xavier's school/institute signifies comic book fans' appreciation of 'jailhouse storytelling.'

    It would therefore be worthwhile to keep accounts of how Xavier's school/institute directly impacts story plots.
