Dude under that stern facade that Scott wears as a mask his whole "I like to be the one in charge" vibe is overruled by his need to be the submissive member of the relationship. Plus seeing as Sinister's connection with Scott transcends time and space how can you say they're not soulmates?

Hmm they did have a lot of "history" together, so you may have a point there. But lets also take into consideration the bond of love that Cyke's formed with Logan over the last few decades.
