X-Men
Team » X-Men appears in 13416 issues.
The X-Men are a superhero team of mutants founded by Professor Charles Xavier. They are dedicated to helping fellow mutants and sworn to protect a world that fears and hates them.
Which X-Men character do you dislike/ hate the most.
I'll just quote my response from the "X-Lady you hate the most thread" since my reasons are the same:

Hope by far. She's a knockoff Rogue but with ill-defined "messiah powers", looks like Jean Grey, and has a connection to the Phoenix Force. And on top of all that, she's an arrogant brat. Pass. She's more plot device than character, and she was more interesting when she was a little kid being carried around by Cable.
chose emma , never liked her . still don't , followed by magik bc i find her annoying . hope hasn't done anything really so she is a bit of a letdown, cyclops was cool for being the straight man to logan's rebel attitude. in recent years (i blame emma) he has been a bit of a d-bag . also i believe polls should end after D. because aa, ab , ac, as choices is just ridiculous
Deadpool, I actually think he was cool when he was a villain that showed up time and time again.....a Deathstroke knockoff through and through, then Joe Kelly wrote him in the late 90's and the book was good and funny and established his own identity. Then......writers just started writing him like a moron....its like just have him say whatever "Eat doorknobs, banana brains"...thats it, so basically anyone can write Deadpool dialogue, he is never out of character because he is crazy.....this kind of represents lazy writing......additionally they "Mary sued" the hell out of him...he has one of the best healing factors, he is one of the best H2H combatants, blah, blah.....He is a poster boy for comic noobs and stupid...I wish he didn't exist anymore,

I'm the opposite. I've actually started liking him recently. Didn't read the Daniel Way series.
I think his over saturation gets to me as well....I honestly just don't see his appeal.@cattlebattle said:

All of them are awesome except Namor. He was added to give them their "Heavy Hitter" even though the X-Men dont need one because them as a team are by far the most dangerous team ever assembled. Thats why they are amazing. Alone they can be conquered, yes even Storm and Colossus. But when they are working together their powers in tandem are too much for anyone. They are a buffet of unique abilities. The most important reason he simply doesnt work is that the X-Men are more of a very large family than a superhero team. The very much have a family dynamic and this is a central theme in there stories. Namor adds nothing to it, he has no history with them, shares none of their losses or hasnt had to face nearly the level of ridicule they have. He simply doesn work.
I never really understood the point of jubilee. Sparks? I dont hate her but i do dislike the most out of the list.

Dazzler really don't like her in 616 which is funny because I loved her in the ultimate U.
She's on record for having some of the worst song lyrics ever written in a comic book series....ever.....

I'm going to have to go with Wolverine at this point. I just see to damn much of him.
I can't even say that it's because I see too much of him.....there are people I don't mind seeing a lot of....but his stories don't feel natural.....sometimes it's as if he's being crammed into things.

Most Avengers stories with him feel that way. After all the years he has been there he still doesn't fit.
I'd have to say Hope or Cyclops. I have nothing against Hope its just her powers that bother me. Its similar to Rogues but 10 times more powerful plus she has the phoenix force. To me its like she's god modding. I know that she's the messiah and w Cyclops is a douche...thats about it.
If I had to pick one it would be Wolverine, but I hate how he's written more than his character. TBH, I really don't hate any X-Men characters. I feel meh about some of them, ex: Forge, but I don't really hate them.
I would've voted Angel but the list only had Archangel who I'm cool with for some reason. Magick is a terrible idea for a mutant. How can magic powers be a genetic mutation? Frankly I don't care what bizarre answer they came up with. The whole point of X-men is that it's a sci-fi setting that explores human evolution into homo superior for the sake of survival. Sure there are plenty of mutant powers that I have problems with but Illyana really takes the "science" out of "science fiction". When she got a part of the Phoenix powers that pushes her over the edge as my least favorite mutant of all time.

emma frost because shes being used to replace jean in scott's life although she has good leadership skills....but jean doesnt and thats why they keep killing her off repeatedly

Well said~!^
By far:
Namor & Hope are the worst.

Wrong. Jean and Scott have strong history and better relationship. What has Emma actually done for Scott Summers and what has she done for the X-Men ?. She has lived in Cyclops shadows for the past five years. If people don't see that, there being a little naive. They killed Jean Grey off cause, Morrison had no understanding of their marriage. Emma didn't steal Scott, if wasn't for Jean they wouldn't even be together.
